We are looking for a dynamic After Sales Manager to lead Valmet’s Service Center and support the development of their Flow Control Sales team.
The position is based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, covering the Spanish market.
This role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery and continuous improvement of after-sales services, promoting customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
Main tasks include :
* Collaborating closely with Sales and Services teams to propose value-added services and tailored solutions for existing customers.
* Developing and recommending plans to enhance service performance by reviewing current results and identifying areas for improvement.
* Overseeing and establishing the operational framework, providing guidance aligned with the service strategy, managing budgets, and implementing policies.
* Proactively seeking new service business opportunities, engaging with customers, and implementing service agreements.
* Leading, directing, evaluating, and developing a team of service employees to ensure adherence to service standards.
* Maintaining an up-to-date Installed Base for the country and conducting proper follow-up with customers to support service and maintenance development.
* Promoting and enforcing the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
We seek an After Sales Manager with a degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in after-sales management or service operations within industrial sectors. The candidate should have experience in developing service plans, managing budgets, overseeing service teams, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Knowledge of contract management and customer service processes is required.
