About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and globally connected Machinery Director for Dry Processes in the textile sector. This critical leadership role will drive technical excellence and strategic insight regarding dry process textile machinery. The director will be a recognized expert, responsible for leveraging deep knowledge of textile production processes, combined with strong commercial acumen, to guide the company's offering, establish a robust worldwide network of industry contacts,

and create a strong internal knowledge base to be disseminated across all relevant teams. This role is central to ensuring our platform showcases the most innovative and relevant dry process technology while maximizing its commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

- General Technical Leadership: Serve as the company's principal expert on dry process textile
- machinery, providing strategic guidance on technology trends, performance, and sustainability for all platform decisions.
- International Network Development: Cultivate and maintain an extensive, high-level, worldwide network of contacts among textile machinery manufacturers, production companies, and key industry stakeholders to drive business development and technology scouting.
- Textile Process Expertise: Utilize deep, hands-on knowledge of textile production and processes, particularly those involving dry finishing, to accurately evaluate machinery capabilities and translate complex technical benefits into clear, commercially compelling value propositions for our marketplace users.
- Commercial Strategy Integration: Lead the commercial evaluation of new machinery and technologies, including market sizing, competitive pricing, and partnership viability, to inform our go-to-market strategy.
- Internal Knowledge Management: Establish a systematic process for collecting,documenting, and structuring technical and market intelligence related to dry processes from global sources.
- Organizational Dissemination: Act as a key internal educator, effectively spreading critical technical and market knowledge across sales, product, and engineering teams to enhance organizational capability and strategic alignment.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Product and Sales teams to identify machinery gaps, inform the platform's product roadmap, and support sales efforts with expert technical and commercial backing.

- Expert in Dry Process Machinery: Proven, deep technical expertise in textile dry process machinery (e.g., specific finishing, heat-setting, or drying technologies).
- Global Connectivity: Demonstrable track record of establishing and maintaining a robust, high-value professional network across international textile markets.
- Process Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end textile production value chain and the specific operational context of dry processes.
- Strong Commercial Skills: Demonstrated expertise in commercial strategy, business development, market analysis, and contract negotiation within the B2B industrial or machinery sector.
