At Coty, we are recruiting a Quality Assurance Specialist for a dynamically growing team, in the Barcelona 22@ district.
Responsibilities
* Assess the level of Quality and Good Manufacturing Practices across all Third Party Manufacturers (TPMs) to ensure compliance with Coty Quality standards and business needs.
* Ensure Coty products manufactured at TPMs meet Coty specifications, quality protocols, and requirements.
* Act as the QA single point of contact with TPMs for any quality and compliance troubleshooting on Coty products.
* Deploy quality procedures and policy to the EU TPMs in scope and lead TPM QA qualification and onboarding for new TPMs/sites until final exit when production stops.
* Align Process Control Plan with new TPMs, audit, coach TPMs, and build capability.
* Lead investigation and follow‑up of corrective and preventive actions for any product non‑conformance to avoid recurrence until close‑out.
* Analyze product consumer complaints and ensure root cause analysis (RCA) is performed with third‑party manufacturers.
This role requires 30% travel.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience with quality systems, GMPs, and quality control.
* Background in the cosmetic industry is desired.
* Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Fluent written and spoken English is a must; French is desired.
* Strong sense of individual accountability and ability to work autonomously.
* Team player committed to delivering results.
* Ability to handle large volumes of work and change priorities as needed.
* Knowledge of SAP and good IT knowledge of MS Office applications.
