PACKAGING DEVELOPER EXTERNAL OPERATIONS
Location: Barcelona Hub
Packaging Developer External Operations manages various cross-functional projects, including:
* New Product Launches: Supporting the Initiative Management Portfolio for each brand
* Protection Projects: Adapting existing portfolios to meet new sustainability requirements
* Analysis Projects: Advancing initiatives aligned with Coty's sustainability roadmap
* Technology Transfers: Facilitating transitions in line with the Manufacturing Operation Plan
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Packaging Developer External Operations, your responsibilities may include:
* Technical Feasibility: Assessing packaging projects' technical feasibility based on Third Party Manufacturers (TPMs)
* Sustainability Assessment: Ensuring alignment with Coty's sustainability objectives and roadmap
* Packaging Development: Collaborating with internal teams (Marketing, R&D) and external partners (suppliers, TPMs) to design and develop packaging
* Artwork Approval: Reviewing and approving packaging artwork in collaboration with Marketing, Regulatory, and Formulators
* Print Trials: Supervising print trials with decoration suppliers for quality and compliance
* Quality Standards: Establishing quality standards and range boards for quality control
* Tertiary Packaging: Designing tertiary packaging solutions with TPMs
* Specifications: Preparing and sharing packaging specifications with suppliers, TPMs, and Quality teams
* Bills of Materials (BOM): Generating and maintaining accurate BOMs for finished goods
* Updates and Revisions: Revising specifications and BOMs as needed
* Line Trials: Supervising and approving production line trials with TPMs

Other requirements include:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related technical field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within Cosmetics, Pharma, or FMCG sectors
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Strong sense of accountability, independent work capability, problem-solving skills, customer orientation, analytical skills, flexibility to handle large workloads and changing priorities, and willingness to travel occasionally
