Job Description:
Overview: Program Manager: Western Europe Positive Agriculture Manager.
Duration: 18 months FTC initially.
General accountabilities include providing effective project management for Positive Agriculture initiatives in Western Europe (focus on Spain, France, UK, and Germany) across key crops such as corn, oats, canola, sugar beet, and sunflower. Responsibilities include coordinating and managing partners and stakeholders, liaising with PepsiCo internal teams, and executing projects.
Location: Spain (flexible based in Spain)
Responsibilities:
* Support delivery of positive agriculture and climate goals across key crops in Western Europe.
* Execute new partnerships and funding streams.
* Work with implementation partners on the ground: scope, support, scale.
* Ensure understanding and integration of CAP / ELM co-funding opportunities and EU Carbon farming regulations in project design and execution.
* Manage existing workstreams: oversee management, completion, and rollout of projects in key crops.
* Lead engagement with key suppliers to develop their capability in executing the Positive Agriculture agenda.
* Gather learnings from projects to inform sector and global regenerative agriculture programs.
* Build strong relationships with external parties such as NGOs, industry platforms, research institutions, and farmer organizations.
* Coordinate with internal teams for data collection and reporting.
* Develop and execute plans for relevant crops and regions.
Qualifications and Experience:
* 3-5 years’ experience in agriculture, preferably with regenerative agriculture.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, International Development, Sustainability, Business Management, or related field.
* Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficiency in data analysis and communication of insights.
* Understanding of processing industry for agricultural products.
* Fluent in English, French, and Spanish (written and spoken).
* Ability to work remotely, proactively, and independently.
* Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies is a plus but not required.
