What We’re Looking For :
* A culinary degree or equivalent qualification (preferred).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and Spanish.
* Legal right to work in Europe, including visas or permits.
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.
* Experience in pre-opening kitchen operations is advantageous.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills to inspire the FIVE Tribe.
* Experience with Forbes or LQA-rated properties is a plus.
* Extensive knowledge of international cuisines, culinary techniques, and food trends.
* Understanding of HACCP, health and safety, and hygiene standards.
* Exceptional time management and multitasking skills.
* Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and ensure timely food orders.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Chef De Cuisine to develop innovative menus with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, from food prep to plating, ensuring quality and presentation.
* Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team, fostering continuous learning and growth.
* Innovate menu offerings, techniques, and presentations, staying ahead of industry trends.
* Prioritize guest satisfaction, addressing special requests and dietary needs.
* Work with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
* Manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste in collaboration with procurement.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
* Support administrative tasks such as scheduling and performance evaluations.
* Identify operational improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Maintain effective communication within the culinary team and with other departments.
* Coordinate with servers to ensure high-quality presentation and service standards.
