Position Description
We are seeking a software developer passionate about creating desktop applications dedicated to medical imaging. This hybrid role—combining remote work with regular in-office collaboration—places you at the core of our software development team. You will work closely with Product Specialists who support clients directly, R&D and the Business Development team to deliver innovative and impactful imaging solutions.
Main responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain the core C++ library, tools, and GUI of the application
* Implement and maintain automated tests for both the library and GUI components
* Collaborate with R&D, Product Specialists, and Business Development teams to ensure functional and user-focused solutions
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
Qualifications
Required:
* Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
* 2–3 years of professional experience in object-oriented programming with C++
* Experience developing desktop applications using Microsoft Visual Studio
* Solid understanding of software architecture and GUI development
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
* Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* English: Professional working proficiency
Preferred:
* Experience with VTK and/or ITK for 3D visualization and image processing
* Familiarity with GUI development using WxWidgets
* Experience with Windows API and desktop application frameworks
* Experience with SQL-based database management
* Exposure to continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
* Experience with the DICOM standard and integration of medical imaging software with PACS/HIS
