Affidea Group has a strong presence in 15 countries, and in all corners of Europe, but we decided we won’t stop here. To support turning this decision into success, we are looking for an M&A Analyst in Portugal or Spain.
In this position, we offer you the opportunity to work on both acquisition possibilities and greenfield investments in the countries we operate and outside. You will gain insight into the company’s rapidly developing business environment and investment policies and perform qualitative/quantitative analysis of new investment opportunities.
In the role, you will be:
1. Modelling and analysing new investments, supporting the investment proposals, and developing and controlling the related business plans
2. Monitoring and documenting the current M&A pipeline and reviewing the performance of past investments
3. Preparing M&A reports and presentations for the Senior Management and the Shareholders
4. Taking ownership of the analytical models for our 5 years organic growth plan, creating price/volume/mix, seasonality, trends, P&L, and Cash Flow analysis
5. Communicating with Country Teams including Finance Directors and Country Managers to clarify issues and ensure the accuracy and reliability of investment models
6. Cooperating with external advisors and consultants in due diligence efforts
7. Supporting Treasury and Controlling with underlying data for financing and management reporting activities

12. 2-3 years of experience in corporate finance, transaction services or valuation/modelling
13. Modelling experience, to include building Excel models, maintain and run financial scenarios, analyse and evaluate the outputs
14. Good understanding of accounting principles; previous experience in corporate finance would be an advantage
15. Strong MS Office knowledge with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
16. Fluency in English is a must
17. University/College degree in Economics, Finance or Statistics
