About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies in order to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts of the resort and its outlets. This position works closely with different departments to develop and execute the storytelling at the resort.
As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
* With the guidance of the Director of Marketing Communications, designandimplementthe hotel’s social media and e-commerce strategy with KPIs.
* Proactively plan creative, compelling, and targeted social media activity and campaigns.
* Stay informed of upcoming trends and developments within the field of social media.
* Research and develop new ways toleveragesocial content to improve performance.
* Setting KPIs for social media agencies and using relevant social media monitoring tools to manageall the resort’s social channels.
* Conduct competitiveanalysis ofstudies on competition and provide recommendations on content changes for the resort’s social channels.
* Oversee and manage all social media accounts for the resort, including each F&B outlet, while leading community management strategies and daily engagement for every account.
* Prepare and implement the annual social media content strategy in accordancetobrand.
* Plan and execute social media influencer campaigns, working closely with local and/or international influencers / KOLs and with the Public Relationsagency.
* Collaboratecreate and execute social media campaigns that will generate leads, drive qualitytrafficand fans/follower’sengagement.
* Prepare monthly reports on social media for distribution to department heads and executivecommittee.
* Work closely with various departments to produce quality content for social media.
* Writing, commissioning, and editing materials for a range of key hotelaudiences for use across all social media platforms.
* Plan, organize and oversee all social media photography / videography sessions.
As Social MediaManager, we expect from you:Experience and education
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, eCommerce Management, ora relatedfield.
* Minimum of 2 years of solid experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality sector (resort experience is considered a plus).
Technical Skills
* Excellent communication skills with an articulate and compelling communication style.
* Strong writing ability, capable of adapting tone and style to different audiences and communication platforms.
* Proven project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong attention to detail andorganisationalskills.
* Creative mindset with the ability to think innovatively and work with flair and imagination.
* Strong communicationskills in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
