Field-based Product Support Specialist – Canary Islands (Spain) The Stryker Product Support Specialist is responsible for directly supporting all Stryker products used in Joint Replacement procedures, including robotic surgery with Mako. The role focuses on servicing and supporting clinical customers to deliver best‐in‐class specialist support with procedural excellence. The specialist works with the local sales team to coordinate training and events, and manages day‐to‐day business support to ensure Stryker delivers exceptional service across the customer base.
Key Responsibilities Service existing and new customer base within the theatre and clinical environment.
Provide support for MAKO robotic procedures and manual joint replacement surgeries.
Train theatre and HCP staff on Stryker products.
Collaborate with regional team members and the Regional Sales Manager to maintain best‐in‐class customer service levels.
Audit theatre Stryker stock (implants, disposables, instruments), manage consignment inventory, and enforce good asset‐management practices.
Conduct trials and evaluations of products in theatre and clinical settings as required.
Implement training workshops, provide instruments, and introduce new or additional Stryker products.
Communicate essential product features and benefits, representing Stryker with integrity and professionalism.
Coordinate with sales colleagues to follow up on customer needs and promote new solutions.
Maintain a basic business plan of daily, weekly, monthly objectives.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, medical technology, health sciences, or a relevant medical certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT).
1–2 years of experience in a related role.
Fluency in Spanish and English (C1 level).
Valid driver's license.
Experience in an operating room (highly preferred).
Previous experience as a Product Specialist, Clinical Specialist, Nurse, or Biomedical Engineer in the healthcare industry.
Master's degree in biomedical engineering, medical technology, or health sciences (preferred).
Experience with clinical training and education programs.
Demonstrated knowledge of business administrative and clerical procedures and systems (e.g., word processing, file management, record maintenance).
Location & Travel Territory: Canary Islands, Spain (Iberia).
Base Location: Gran Canaria or Tenerife.
Field role with 50% travel, occasionally within Iberia.
Operating room presence: 70% of time.
