About the Role
As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, you will design and build elegant, scalable systems that enable companies to manage their equity. Working closely with engineers, product managers and designers based in Zurich and London, you will help deliver industry‑leading automation and experiences.
First 30 days
- Pair with an onboarding buddy to learn the equity‑management domain
- Meet engineering, product and design teammates
- Discover how your team's surface area integrates into the broader Ledgy platform
- Contribute to the codebase with guidance from senior members
First 3 months
- Ship independently on impactful product features and improvements
- Participate in architecture discussions around scaling workflows, data models, and integrations
- Collaborate with other engineers to implement robust data flows
- Develop deep knowledge of equity management and automation
- Review code and uphold engineering standards
First 6–12 months
- Own key features and enhancements within your domain
- Shape the technical direction and architecture of Ledgy’s equity platform
- Work with Product and Design to deliver polished, user‑centric experiences
- Mentor junior engineers and share expertise in automation, data modeling and scalability
Teams we're hiring for
Core Equity — Owns foundational logic for the equity engine, handling transactions such as issuing shares and adjusting ownership. This team defines and maintains the transaction logic, data model and core domain behaviour to keep the platform accurate, scalable, and compliant.
Workflows & Automation — Automates complex equity workflows and integrates with third‑party services, including trading exchanges. The team builds systems that help admins onboard and offboard employees, automate grants and terminations, and enable employees to sell vested shares.
Reporting — Transforms core equity data into financial, operational and compliance reports. The team ensures reports are accurate, performant and reliable across jurisdictions and company structures, powering insights for companies and auditors.

- You have 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
