Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for a Process Safety Engineer for Saudi Arabi.
Responsibilities
1. Support and cooperate with the Project Technical Safety Lead in the execution of the project activities, especially during the engineering phase of the project
2. Preparation and participation to Client meetings
3. Support the Technical Safety Leader in the evaluation of suppliers and sub-contractor bids involved in the Process Safety Activities
4. Support in the management of Sub-contractors and Suppliers
5. Confident writing of reports and technical documentation
6. To assist the project technical management and engineering team in risk management processes such as (S/J):
7. Coordinate and develop Process Safety activities such as:
• Hazid, Hazop analysis and related follow up process
• LOPA, Bow-Tie Analysis
• Functional Safety Lifecycle (SIL allocation, calculation, SRS, Verification) in compliance with international standard IEC 61508 / 61511
• Project Technical Integrity Lifecycle (MAE identification, SECE selection/identification, Performance Standard identification)
• Human Factor Engineering
• Alarm Management / Rationalization
8. Contribute to the development and to the continuous technical improvement of internal work methodologies and procedures
Requirements
* Qualification: bachelor’s or master’s degree in technical disciplines
* 10+ years of experience in similar role, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
* Languages: good written and spoken in English, proficiency on additional foreign language is a plus
* Computer skills: MS Office, particular risk analysis software tools
* Certification on Hazid/Hazop/LOPA analysis training course is preferred
* International Certificate on Functional Safety Certification Program (FSCP): Engineer / Professional / Expert is preferred

* Process Safety professional experience and references in Risk Management and Analysis activities developed in project execution on Oil & Gas plant, LNG Plant, FPSO/FLNG
* Good communication, problem-solving and decision making.
