As Global Manufacturing Quality Manager (m|f|d), you will drive quality excellence across our global manufacturing network.
The role focuses on diverse manufacturing and fabrication processes, particularly for turbines and generators used in renewable energy systems.
Lead general manufacturing quality strategy, ensuring alignment with Voith Hydro's renewable energy objectives.
Ensure quality oversight across diverse manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on turbine and generator fabrication.
Coordinate internal & external inspection personnel according to ITP (production order), including NDT, electrical, and dimensional checks.
Create and maintain quality documentation; Provide input on testing technologies and support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, OPEX).
Perform process & product audits, review quality documents, and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Act as NDT coordinator and participate in FMEAs and mandatory problem-solving activities.
Monitor plant performance through KPIs, initiate corrective actions, and drive preventive measures.
Support Quality department priorities as defined by Head of Quality, ensuring flexibility and collaboration.
Capture lessons learned and implement best practices across global manufacturing sites.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing quality management, ideally in renewable energy or heavy industry.
Proven leadership experience in a global environment.
Strong knowledge of ISO standards, lean methodologies, and advanced quality tools.
fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
