Platform Engineering Director – Cloud Infrastructure
European Tech Recruit are working closely with an exciting Quantum AI company, based in San Sebastián, who are looking for a talented Platform Engineering Director with Cloud Infrastructure experience to join their team.
Responsibilities as Platform Engineering Director – Cloud Infrastructure:
* Build a robust team.
* Communicate with leadership.
* Report directly to the CTO.
* Build a scalable DevOps and MLOps infrastructure.
* Accompany the transition to offering a SaaS product.
* Enable a business model which is fully driven AWS and Azure.
* Manage huge computational loads for a 100+ Engineer company.
Requirements:
* PHD / Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering and/or DevOps.
* 2+ years leading DevOps and/or platform teams in a technology-driven company.
* Must have MLOps experience.
* Solid understanding and knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
* Experience deploying SaaS solutions.
* Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes.
* Extensive experience of AWS and Azure.
* Proven experience using automation to support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management (i.e. Terraform, etc).
