Hybrid working – 3 days in office and 2 days from home

The role is composed of two main dimensions:

Global Payroll Standards and Service Alignment

This role is a key influencer for the current and future Global Payroll Offer. In conjunction with management and as part of the Global Payroll, adapt in-country/region-specific concepts into global ones and vice versa when applicable. Bring strategies/approaches to harmonize elements of the offer into consistent services. Ensure ways to reduce complexities and take all opportunities to harmonize content, terminology, and references across countries and among different business units. Bring Subject Matter Expertise to ensure that services are delivered consistently across a global scope of international payroll providers. The role is to align and formalize payroll and related services through policy, process, and procedure.

Legislative Compliance

Act as an expert regarding payroll legislative updates, ensuring the business and clients are aware of legal changes affecting payroll and the impacts on service, process, partners, ADP, and clients. Ensure solutions are in line with the service offer.

Responsibilities The Global Payroll Standards and Service
* Alignment
* Define service standards, templates, and processes to apply across the network.
* Create opportunities to increase services offered to different client segments, seeking opportunities for business growth, and package them into a logical group of services.
* Present reasoned arguments to support business initiatives and investments, raising business impacts related to these services.
* Analyze services offered to help determine standards.
* Consider the payroll subcontracting vendor network when defining payroll standards to ensure alignment and capability to deliver to the global standard.
* Create a simple model for payroll that covers regional complexities and meets client needs.
* Be a Subject Matter Expert on payroll processes and practices for assigned countries.
* Formulate internal criteria/principles for services in the Service Definition.
* Simplify the structure of additional services to integrate them into the payroll offer.
* Provide insights and data to support decision-making and influence pricing development for additional services.
* Identify opportunities for standardization and methodology improvements in payroll activities.
* Create and maintain standard templates for partner documentation.
* Serve as a point of contact for global payroll concepts requests and questions.
* Support on client escalations as an SME.
* Coordinate with the Network Operations Team for alignment.
* Determine critical service coverage elements for onboarding new partners or platforms.
* Identify best practices across regions for implementation to improve client experience and service levels.
* Support negotiations with partners by providing analysis and arguments.
Legislative Compliance
* Serve as a central reference point for Streamline countries.
* Work with internal legislation teams across ADP direct service countries.
* Communicate legislative updates effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure local partners follow standard processes.
* Assess impacts and monitor solution delivery plans.
* Lead execution of solution plans, managing schedules and communications.
* Prepare assessments and handover plans for significant impacts.
* Ensure proper communication to HQ clients regarding legal changes.
* Issue bulletins explaining laws and impacts, highlighting required actions.
* Supervise storage of external bulletins in central tools.
* Keep stakeholders updated and gather necessary approvals.
* Coordinate publication of updates internally and externally.
* Deliver expertise on partner documentation related to legislative matters.
* Track and update relevant reports with other ADP teams.
* Proactively seek improvements in service delivery effectiveness and excellence.
* Create guidelines, FAQs, and support materials about legislative updates.
* Act as SME for internal clients on legislative questions.
Education & Experience
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Experience in payroll and/or HR
Skills
* Strong English communication skills (written and oral)
* Strong analytical, critical thinking, and attention to detail skills
* Experience working in an international and cross-cultural environment
* Language skills are a bonus
