Head of Performance Marketing

What Your Adventure will look like:
Own TourRadar's growth engine end-to-end, building a self-propelling, experimentation-driven system that scales efficiently across SEM, Paid Social, YouTube, CTV, Affiliates, and creator-led channels
Lead continuous adoption and evolution of AI-driven campaign solutions such as Performance Max (PMax), AI Max, Advantage+, and AI-powered bidding and creative systems, ensuring they are deployed strategically
Be the expert at unlocking growth through paid social as a core acquisition lever, expanding impact through YouTube and CTV to drive incremental demand at scale
Set growth strategy while staying close to execution - comfortable being hands-on when needed to shape experiments, channel mix, creatives, automation, and measurement
Build and own a rigorous experimentation roadmap across channels, creative, audiences, and onsite experience to continuously improve performance
Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing, fully in-house growth team spanning Paid Media, Retargeting, SEM, Display, Affiliates, Influencer & Ambassador programs
Drive material improvements in ROAS, CAC, and LTV by partnering closely with Product, Tech, UX, and Content teams
Scale affiliates, ambassadors, influencers, and content creators into repeatable, performance-driven growth channels
Optimize customer journeys, landing pages, and experiences end-to-end for different customer personas, ensuring media platform signals, creative, and onsite touchpoints are aligned to maximize conversion and incrementality
Own forecasting, budget allocation, and performance reporting across channels to inform investment decisions and resourcing, with direct reporting and strategic alignment with the Leadership Team and CEO
Drive deep integration across media buying, analytics, martech, ad ops, SEO, content, and UX to maximize growth impact
Represent TourRadar as a growth leader internally and externally through thought leadership and industry engagement
What you'll need to bring to Your Adventure:
8+ years' experience driving growth and ROI in high-growth or venture-backed environments
Strong understanding of marketing measurement and analytics, with deep knowledge of attribution models; experience with incrementality testing is a strong plus
Deep expertise in Paid Search and Paid Social, with strong experience across YouTube, CTV, Display, and Retargeting, including ownership of a min. €5-8M annual performance marketing budget
Proven track record in building and scaling in-house performance and growth teams
Hands-on experience with AI-based campaign frameworks such as Performance Max, AI Max, Advantage+ and other automated media solutions
Hands-on experience with Affiliates, ambassadors, influencers, and content creators, ideally with a performance or revenue lens
Hands-on experience with app growth, including paid acquisition and ideally App Store Optimization, is a strong plus
Highly data-driven, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid experimentation
Strong leader and communicator who can align teams around clear growth goals
Travel industry and North American market experience is a strong plus
