For an European institution in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a Senior QA Test Engineer.

This position is open for contractors and employees. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and Responsibilities:Define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery;
Responsible for the planning test activities, both functional and non-functional testing;
Participate in therequirement analysis phase to ensure an effective test strategy is devised;
Ensure that all processes related to Quality Management are set up and maintained;
Work together withthe relevant stakeholders to devise a strategy for security/penetration testing;
Ensure effective collaboration and interaction between the team members in performing a thorough end-to-end functional and non-functional testing of the System(s);
Validate the Test Summary Reports along with testing evidence delivered for all testing-related activities and provide expert comments on the deliverables and accept or reject them;
Maintain all documentation related to Quality Management;
Support the project teamand the Contracting Authority on all issues related to Quality Management;
Plan, support deploymentand manage the testing effort for any given engagement;
Participate in thetest management meetings such as 'end of FAT' and 'end of SAT' meetings;
Carry out quality auditsand IT processes quality assessments;
Plan end-user testing, including MS testing;
Profile:Bachelor or Master degree;
+8 years of relevant work experience;
Excellent knowledge of the testing lifecycle and the landscape of the tools to automate the test cases to perform;
Excellent knowledge of testing standards and methodologies;
Good project and contract management knowledge;
Hands-on experience using project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.) and methodologies (Prince2, PM2, PMI, Agile, SAFE, Scrum, etc.);
Ability to chair meetings and give presentations;
Ability to apply high-quality standards to all tasks;
Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies;
Capacity in writing documents;
Good communicationskills: ability to communicate effectively with the development team;
Experience and willingness to work in an international/multicultural environment;
Fluent in English;
