We are looking for a full-time Accountant, for our construction project in Barcelona with the following qualifications to join our dynamic team.
As and experience we are looking for:
- University degree (BS/MS) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields or Certified Public Accountant qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience preferably on international industrial/construction projects.
- Self oriented, disciplined, and well organized.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP software.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
- Solid analytical and mathematical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Located in Barcelona.
Job Description:
- Managing the accounts of related construction project in accordance with Spanish GAP (Plan General Contable) in order to ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and standards
- Working closely with external advisors (fellow accountants, tax experts and payroll specialists)
- Verifying invoices and invoice statements,
- Performing accounting duties throughout the project, such as preparing invoices, estimating cash flow, and signing off on purchase orders.
- Analyzing all transactions and working unforeseen costs into the budget.
- Keeping a record of all project finances for internal/external auditing and tax purposes.
- Preparing cost analyses by interpreting projects' financial data and information.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers and doing regular reconciliations
- Performing regular reconciliations of all vendor and GL account
- Preparing and submitting monthly reports to the headquarters in Hungary
