Role Overview
To maximize customer satisfaction on our service quality and capability, by providing professional field service and consultancy while promoting service products to generate service NIS.
To carry out service, repairs, maintenance and overhaul of air compressors and related industrial equipment.
On Site
* On arrival at customer's premise inform person‑in‑charge before any jobs are being carried out, to avoid interruptions in production or any other business interruptions.
* Implement correct working methods, use correct tools, and observe all safety rules and regulations. Collection of local purchase parts from suppliers for service jobs.
* Carry out daily jobs as assigned / instructed by the Supervisor / Manager.
* Follow all instructions given in the scope of works as per service work order.
* Test run and monitor serviced units, record all readings to ensure units are running at satisfactory conditions.
* Write reports of jobs carried out on the service work order or recommend any follow‑up actions if needed.
* Explain to customer if any follow‑up or repair jobs are needed.
* Maintain cleanliness at compressor room and surrounding area before leaving customer’s premise.
Records / Maintenance And Feedback
* Feedback to Team Leader / Supervisor / Manager on follow‑up actions required.
* Provide technical and quality feedback to the technical specialist according to customer’s feedback.
* Record all time spent in the field, workshop, and other activities.
* Timely and correct feedback on work orders, weekly report, and monthly report.
* Working closely with sales team & project team to satisfy customer.
* Maintain proper PPEs’ being issued, ensure service vehicle is in good and clean condition, upkeep personal tools & equipment and workshop area.
* Ensure proper usage and maintenance of all workshop equipment or measuring equipment.
Others
* Use of MAM (Mobile Asset Management Tool).
* Work closely with Service Planners and Service Supervisors / Team Leader.
* Objective to complete each job first time fix.
Qualifications
* At least 2 years hands on working experience in the engineering industry, preferably with good knowledge on air compressor fundamentals.
* Computer literate and a self‑starter with the ability to read technical manuals and prepare technical/service reports in English. Mechanical/electric‑mechanical troubleshooting skills.
* Minimum educational requirements: Certificate / Diploma in mechanical / Electric‑Mechanical discipline.
* Having experience with Compressor, Pump or Generator product will be an advantage.
* Have a driving licence.
