Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and microservices-based architectures.
* Build scalable solutions within fully containerized environments running on Kubernetes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend components with frontend elements built in React.
* Optimize system performance, stability, and security across backend services.
* Contribute to code reviews, best-practice definition, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
* Proven experience working with microservices architectures.
* Hands‑on experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes deployments.
* Knowledge of Oracle databases.
* Some frontend experience, ideally with React.
* Advanced English level (able to work in international environments).
* Availability to work onsite 3 days per week (Madrid city center).
Nice to Have
* Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling.
* Additional knowledge of cloud‑native architectures.
* Experience in financial or highly regulated environments.
* Certifications in Java, Kubernetes, Cloud, or related technologies.
