Our client is a tech company founded in 2012 in New York. Their SaaS mission is to make small contracting businesses more efficient and competitive.
Operating globally, the team is composed of 44 professionals, 11 of whom are part of the IT and product team (working between the USA and Barcelona).
With over 10 years of experience and a strong client base, they are entering a new phase of growth and looking to expand their mobile development capabilities.
The Role
You’ll join a small but ambitious product and engineering team, taking ownership of the mobile application built with the latest versions of Angular and Ionic. This is a strategic role with high impact:
you’ll be responsible for building new features, improving performance, and helping shape the future of the mobile experience.
The mobile app is stable and well-established, but there’s a lot of exciting work ahead—new functionality, UX improvements, and technical evolution. You’ll work closely with the product and costumer experience teams, and have the opportunity to lead mobile development efforts.
What we’re looking for
* 5+ years of experience in frontend development with JavaScript and TypeScript
* Solid experience building hybrid mobile apps (Ionic is a big plus)
* Strong skills in HTML5, CSS, and responsive design
* Experience developing custom UI components and optimizing performance
* Familiarity with Angular and modern frontend architecture
* Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
* Comfortable using modern dev tools and AI-assisted workflows
* Excellent communication skills and team spirit
* Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
Nice to have
* Experience leading mobile projects or mentoring other developers
* Familiarity with tools like Cursor or other AI-enhanced IDEs
* Based in or near Barcelona (team meets monthly in person)
