Whitewater Group is currently experiencing significant growth, driven by its expertise in off-site construction methods (OSM), enabling the delivery of turnkey projects while minimising on-site construction time. /p pb About the Role /b /p p The Pre-Construction Engineer plays a critical role in linking engineering design with project delivery. This function involves translating technical concepts into clear, structured, and buildable documentation, enabling projects to progress efficiently from early design through procurement and into execution. /p p In collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, this role ensures that technical solutions are aligned with client requirements, project specifications, and practical construction considerations. /p pb Main Duties and Responsibilities /b /p ulli Development and management of technical documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements. Preparation and coordination of technical submittals through internal reviews and client approval processes. /lili Engagement with suppliers to obtain and evaluate technical and commercial proposals, with continuous tracking of RFQs and maintenance of accurate technical data. /lili Review and refinement of engineering documents, including PIDs, along with the preparation of technical mark-ups and coordination of updates with design and BIM teams to ensure consistency across models and disciplines. /lili Creation and maintenance of technical registers for equipment, valves, and instrumentation, ensuring all trackers reflect design changes, supplier inputs, and client feedback. /lili Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support system integration and project execution, providing technical input and communicating changes that may impact downstream activities. /lili Participation in technical meetings, follow-up of key deliverables, and support in resolving technical queries and documentation reviews. /lili Compilation and delivery of complete, approved technical documentation to ensure a smooth transition from pre-construction into execution. /li /ul pb Required Qualifications and Experience /b /p ulli Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline). /lili At least 2 years of proven experience in project engineering, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments. /lili Solid understanding of project lifecycle phases, from design development through to execution and delivery. /lili Proficiency in interpreting engineering documentation, including PIDs, drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. /lili Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to address technical and operational challenges effectively, including on-site situations. /lili Proficiency in relevant engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam). /lili Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams. /lili Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements. /lili Good knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality assurance processes, and risk management principles. /lili Professional english communication skills are required. /li /ul pb Benefits /b /p ulli Competitive salary package, commensurate with experience and qualifications. /lili Clear career progression opportunities within a growing and dynamic organisation. /lili Exposure to a diverse portfolio of complex and high-impact international engineering projects. /lili Access to ongoing internal training and professional development programs. /lili Opportunity to work within multicultural teams across global projects and environments. /lili Supportive and collaborative work environment that fosters innovation and knowledge sharing. /lili Involvement in technically challenging projects that encourage continuous learning and growth. /li /ul
