Internal Auditor – Madrid, Spain
A global, internationally focused organisation is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join its European audit team based in Madrid. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated audit professional to work within a collaborative global environment, partnering with teams across multiple European countries and supporting a wide range of business operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver operational, financial, and compliance internal audits across European entities
- Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and recommend process improvements
- Support audit planning, testing, reporting, and follow-up actions
- Analyse data and build dashboards/reporting insights using SAP, Power BI, and ERP tools
- Partner with international stakeholders across multiple countries and functions
- Support the global audit team in driving best practice and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 3–6 years of Internal Audit experience
- Professional fluency in French or German
- Strong technical skills in SAP, Power BI, ERP systems, and dashboard creation
- Experience working in international or multicultural environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Must have the right to work in Spain
- Willing to work 4 days per week in the Madrid office with low travel requirements to Madrid
