- Champions I&O involvement in the IT organization's innovation efforts and its role in experimenting with new solutions to take advantage of business opportunities.- Enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements (e.G., GDPR, GxP), according to the General Counsel guidance.- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate an I&O vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns to the IT and business strategy.- Ability to instill confidence in the business and demonstrate the business value of IT.- Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role.- Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills.- Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic people plan that ensures that the right people are in the right roles at the right time and that employees are highly engaged and satisfied.- Strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage resources internal and external to the enterprise to enhance capabilities that support business objectives.- Familiarity with cloud security (general or Azure preferable) and hybrid environments.- Knowledge of GxP and data integrity requirements for regulated environments.- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure & operations leadership.- Typically has 10 to 15 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments- Experience with financial management: budget definition and execution/tracking.- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization design and development.- Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex, cross-functional and dynamic environments.- Preferred experience managing security n regulated industries (pharma).- Hands-on experience with security tools and services (SIEM, SOC, DLP, end point protection).
