Strategy associate

The selected candidate will play an instrumental role in the definition of the payments strategy and in leading the execution of key strategic projects.

As a member of Getnet Platforms strategy team, the Strategy Associate will actively contribute to the following activities and outcomes:

• Conduct strategic analysis and problem solving, breaking down business problems into structured analyses, assessing growth opportunities, evaluating strategic options, defining frameworks and scenarios, translating complex data into clear insights for decision-making, and other related activities
• Deliver market and customer insights, understanding how our competitors are evolving, benchmarking new potential initiatives on payments landscape. researching payments needs and behaviours, monitoring macroeconomic trends,, etc.
• Identify and analyse opportunities for potential growth, defining the value proposition for the customer, estimating the business case, assessing the alternatives and associated risks and preparing executive materials to support presentations and approvals
• Perform data analyses including collecting and analysing payments performance metrics, trends and drivers, supporting forecasting and long-range planning, tracking progress of strategic initiatives, etc. -
• Define and develop strategies and strategic planning, helping define strategic priorities, contributing to strategic roadmaps and execution plans, supporting annual strategy cycles and executive offsites, etc. -
• Drive the execution of key company-wide projects, coordinating the overall plan, defining the timeline, aligning different stakeholders and reporting on progress
• Support company executives and key stakeholders, working closely with leadership to prepare executive-level materials, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights

Minimum requirements:

• Interest in joining a leading payments company backed by the Santander Group, working internationally with a Madrid base
• University graduate of any discipline will be considered, ADE and Engineering preferred
• Excellent communication skills, problem solving, ability to conceptualise complex projects, attention to detail, teamwork, proactivity
• 5-10 years' experience including minimum of 2-3 years in strategy or business consulting, or working in a strategy role in a multinational company
• Fluent in English and Spanish
