Melt Group we are looking for a
Site Manager for a large EPC project of Electric Arc Furnace (in France) ,our Client is a
well-established international engineering and consulting company specialized in the development and delivery of large-scale industrial projects worldwide. The company operates across multiple sectors including
metals, energy, and complex industrial infrastructure, providing services that range from engineering and project management to construction supervision and plant commissioning.
With a strong global presence and decades of experience supporting major industrial operators, the company is involved in
highly complex international projects, working closely with EPC contractors, technology providers, and industrial clients to ensure the successful execution and delivery of industrial facilities.
To support several ongoing projects in Europe within the
steel and heavy industry sector, we are currently looking for an experienced
Site Manager / Commissioning Manager
to join the project team on site.
Functions to be carried out:
Establish the
Planning of the Construction works
to allow its fulfilment, the sequence of the execution of the different works, the necessary deadlines for the delivery of materials and the day-to-day monitoring of the
Erection Works.
Coordinate the
Monitoring of the Assembly Works
to ensure that they are executed according to the established planning and quality standards.
Coordinate with the
Project Engineering and the Technical Site Office,
different design changes.
Manage the work of the
different Contractors,
holding the necessary follow-up meetings to ensure that the day-to-day running of the Works is perfectly documented, thus enabling deviations to be corrected in due time and form.
Collaborate and coordinate with the rest of the
Project Team on site (Safety, Health and Environment, Technical Office, Procurement, Administration).
Coordinate the
execution and assembly works, paying special attention to possible interferences that may arise.
Identify and make proposals for improvements in execution and assembly procedures.
Supervise the start-up of the plant.
Desired requirements:
Qualification: Degree in Engineering or similar.
High level of spoken and written English and French (Essential).
It is essential to have at least 5 years of professional experience in similar positions, preferably in engineering or international assembly companies.
Experience in mechanical assembly projects, as well as in the management of multidisciplinary teams. Wil be a plus provide expertise in iron and steel sector.

Offered:
Project contract under Spanish law (with trail period) with the prospect of being hired for the Company for new projects.
Salary range: 60.000 / 75.000€ annual gross+ expatriate conditions (accommodation, insurance, travel, per diems...)
