MISSION
This home-based position in Europe involves full responsibility for global expansion (revenue and acquisition), aiming to encourage clients to connect to our API. Responsibilities include generating new business leads, account management, and maintaining relationships at all management levels, with a focus on tour operators, DMCs, and bedbanks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Focus on acquiring new business.
2. Achieve sales targets individually and as a team.
3. Engage with existing clients mainly via email, phone, and virtual meetings; some travel may be required for client visits.
4. Close new sales opportunities continuously.
5. Coordinate effectively with Finance, Connection, and Operations departments to ensure optimal client experience.
6. Follow up from registration to booking with targeted clients.
7. Deliver compelling sales presentations to secure new business.
8. Plan meetings and analyze data.
9. Gather client feedback and communicate improvements to head office.
10. Provide weekly and monthly reports.
11. Update CRM system daily.
12. Implement company strategies as directed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Minimum 5 years of field sales experience in the travel industry; API understanding is preferred. An excellent sales record may substitute for less experience. API sales experience or similar background is a plus.
* Strong market knowledge and contacts at all levels.
* Target-driven and results-oriented.
* Understanding of technology and online distribution channels.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all levels internally and externally.
* Resourceful with good organizational skills.
* Dynamic, motivated self-starter.
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* All communications will be handled confidentially, respecting GDPR regulations.
