JOB DESCRIPTION
Calucem is a Specialty Cement producer with around 100 years of experience in Calcium Aluminate Cement (CAC).
After nearly a century as leaders in calcium aluminate cement solutions, Calucem has renewed its visual identity by aligning with Molins, the company it belongs to.
Technical Assistant is responsible for providing technical support to global sales teams and customers to ensure sales development according to company ambitions. The role involves overseeing the development of know-how in the defined field of expertise and managing projects related to R&D, innovation, and product development. The technical assistant must be available for global technical support, including frequent international missions, at least once a month.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Providing technical and expertise support for customers across all sales regions of Calucem/Molins, including field applications like Building Chemistry, Refractories, and Rapid Hardening Binders.
* Following up with customers through visits for technical support, sampling, and advice on cement choices.
* Understanding customer requirements and implementing them in research projects and customer trials.
* Managing research and development projects in collaboration with customers and external partners.
* Assisting in preparing marketing and technical support documents.
* Identifying trends for products, formulations, and branch developments.
* Leading new product development and aligning with customer expectations and strategic trends, including lab test series in coordination with the Application Laboratory Manager.
* Supporting R&D teams and advising on laboratory test methods.
* Documenting results in reports, publications, and presentations at conferences and international meetings.
* Traveling nationally and internationally as required.
* Attending courses and training sessions as directed by the employer.
* Adhering to procedures, quality plans, and safety regulations, including environmental and occupational safety standards.
* Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors, within professional competence and physical and mental capacity.
