Your job

As a Provider Relations Specialist you will be part of the Provider Services Organization, responsible for managing the relationship with health care providers in Europe, especially in the United Kingdom network. You will work closely with peers and stakeholders positioned across the globe.

Key to the role is end-to-end management of provider accounts, from onboarding to ongoing engagement, educating providers to navigate the Cigna operating model, monitoring performance, and driving engagement initiatives.

Your functions
* Accountability to enable effective collaboration with health providers to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
* On-boarding and day-to-day operational maintenance of provider relationships.
* Educate existing and newly contracted providers on member identification and eligibility, claims submission, Cigna operating model, legacy portal training, and onboarding into the new provider portal.
* Manage day-to-day operations with providers, including follow-up, negotiation, resolution of complaints, escalations, suspensions or threats.
* Monitor operations KPIs and account reconciliation results to support provider decisions and follow-up as needed.
* Drive continuous service improvement through root-cause analyses and data-driven initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Maintain active communication and regular meetings with dedicated healthcare providers.
* Provide consolidated feedback to PSO management and maintain provider communications channels in line with local practices.
* Proactively educate providers on working with Cigna and rolling out new processes.
* Conduct provider visits as applicable.
Your profile
* Internal:
1 year of Cigna experience or relevant experience in other functions/companies with a strong performance track record.
* External:
at least 2 years in Operations, Data Analysis, Marketing/Communications, or Relationship Management with customer/provider-facing experience.
* Native British and proficient in Spanish are mandatory;
additional languages (French, German) are a plus.
* Preferred location:
Madrid (Spain);
other locations in Spain may be considered.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* International mindset with ability to work remotely with colleagues, partners, and providers globally.
* Commitment to excellent service for members, clients and providers.
* Strong can-do attitude with experience in relationship management and multicultural awareness.
* Action-oriented problem-solving ability.
* Excellent organization, planning and prioritization to meet deadlines.
* Experience in complaint management with a track record of improving customer service standards.
* Ability to assess situations, conduct research, analyze data and provide constructive feedback.
* Accountability and ownership for personal results and contributing to team goals.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
* Ability to work independently and with colleagues at all levels.
* Experience interpreting data and drafting reports.
* Strong MS Office skills, including Excel.
* Availability to travel up to 10% of time.
