The product inspection systems function is the expert in programming, operating, and maintenance of vision systems (IMD) and other product inspection systems (like spark testers, sensors, etc.). This function collaborates closely with production and reports directly to the plant Quality Manager.
The goal of this function is to increase failure detection and reduce pseudo scrap.

Description
* Point of contact for all internal questions regarding product inspection systems on the line (Vision systems, Spark testers, Sensors, Lasers).
* Quality representative for all projects requiring inspection systems, including planning and monitoring project progress.
* Final inspection and approval of new inspection systems at the supplier site (FAT) as well as installation and qualification on the company line (SAT).
* Maintenance of existing inspection systems in collaboration with relevant technical departments.
* Calibration and monitoring of existing inspection systems; documentation of results.
* Responsible for systematic system and individual program backups.
* Define tolerances and acceptable values for inspection programs to minimize pseudo scrap and improve detection rates.
* Train production and technical staff in inspection system handling and troubleshooting.
* Standardize and continuously improve inspection systems (e.g., software updates, sensor replacements).
* Create and revise work instructions related to inspection systems.
* Implement Group Standards.
* Manage admin passwords for vision systems.
Profile
* Electro-technical background or third-party certified in electronic components.
* Affinity with software / IT systems, programming, and hardware.
* Certified in specific vision systems (IMD).
* Good communication skills in English.
* Knowledge of plastics production technologies and related failures.
* Team player with good collaboration skills across clusters and communities.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
