Role Overview
We are seeking a crypto-native and strategically-minded Crypto Market Intelligence Lead based in Romania to own our market research, narrative tracking, and competitive intelligence functions. You will be the primary source of real-time insights on crypto market dynamics, emerging sectors, regulatory developments, and competitor activity—translating signal from noise to inform SINOFY's investment strategy and portfolio decisions.
This is not a passive research role. You will actively monitor crypto social channels, on-chain data, funding announcements, and regulatory updates to identify inflection points before they become obvious. You are the \"early warning system\" and \"opportunity radar\" for our global investment team.
Key Responsibilities
* Narrative & Trend Tracking: Monitor crypto Twitter, Discord, Telegram, research outlets, and governance forums to identify emerging narratives (e.g., RWA, AI x Crypto, DePIN, SocialFi) and assess their investment potential.
* Competitive Intelligence: Track activities of other Web3 VCs, launchpads, and institutional players: deal flow, thesis shifts, portfolio additions, and public statements.
* Regulatory & Macro Monitoring: Follow regulatory developments in the EU (MiCA), Romania, and key global jurisdictions. Assess impact on market sentiment, token classifications, and investment opportunities.
* Funding & Launch Surveillance: Monitor new project launches, token generation events (TGEs), airdrops, and funding rounds to identify promising early-stage opportunities for SINOFY.
* Sentiment & Social Analytics: Use tools like LunarCrush, Santiment, or custom scrapers to gauge community sentiment, social volume, and influencer impact around key tokens or sectors.
* Intelligence Reporting: Produce concise, actionable weekly digests and deep-dive reports for the Investment Committee, highlighting key signals, risks, and strategic recommendations.
* Cross-Functional Support: Partner with Deal Flow, Portfolio, and Communications teams to ensure market intelligence informs investment decisions, portfolio strategy, and public positioning.
Qualifications
* Experience: 4+ years of experience in crypto market research, competitive intelligence, venture analysis, or crypto media. Proven ability to generate actionable insights from market noise.
* Crypto-Native Mindset: You are deeply immersed in Web3 culture: active on crypto Twitter, participate in DAOs, hold digital assets, use DeFi protocols, and understand community dynamics. You feel market sentiment intuitively.
* Research Toolkit: Proficiency with crypto research platforms (Messari, Token Terminal, DefiLlama), social analytics tools (LunarCrush, Santiment), and on-chain explorers (Etherscan, Dune).
* Analytical Rigor: Ability to synthesize large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data into clear, concise, and strategic recommendations. Strong writing and presentation skills.
* Language: Fluent English is required for reporting to international leadership.
* Location: Must be based in Romania (for EMEA time zone coverage and legal alignment).

Compensation & Benefits
* Competitive Salary: €120,000 – €165,000 EUR per year.
