Overview
This worldwide manufacturing business, with over 20 billion in revenue, is expanding their corporate audit function and is searching for an experienced senior level auditor to focus on leading and undertaking corporate audit missions across the group’s integral operations.
Role Location and Travel
The role is based in their corporate centre in the Netherlands with around 25% travel worldwide, mostly around Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and undertake audits with the assistance of team members and guest auditors, executing operational audits, financial reviews and internal controls assessments across diverse commercial activities worldwide.
* Communicate audit conclusions effectively (both in writing and orally) to local management, following up on reported findings and overseeing audits as required.
* Undertake a variety of special tasks such as investigations, post‑acquisition reviews and special consulting projects.
Qualifications
* Circa 4–6 years of experience gained either working in a Big 4 audit firm (or equivalent) or within internal audit, with a desire to develop a career in a major multinational corporation.
* High fluency in English and experience working or living in different international environments.
Career Development
After working in this role, candidates are expected to develop further within the global audit function or have the possibility to move into a senior level finance or operational role within one of the group’s many subsidiaries.
