MissionRepresent the company as a scientific support in the field, maintaining a balanced and fair scientific dialogue in a non-promotional context, in order to develop professional relationships focused on scientific advice, information exchange, and clinical research with external stakeholders.Roles & ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain valuable medical-scientific relationships with Medical Experts.Maintain balanced and fair scientific dialogue in a non-promotional context with Medical Experts and scientific societies.Identify unmet medical needs and provide insights into potential medical-scientific opportunities within the designated therapeutic area.Contribute to the implementation of medical strategy and tactics in the territory.Support clinical trials and phase IV studies.Attend congresses, symposia, and scientific events.Participate in internal and external training activities.Establish and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals identified by the company as KOLs. Contribute to the identification of new KOLs.Deliver relevant medical and scientific information to assigned KOLs and maintain up-to-date scientific knowledge of relevant active ingredients.Provide feedback to the organization regarding external perceptions of each communicated active ingredient.Present the clinical value of products to regional evaluation stakeholders.Promote and lead scientific meetings and medical training sessions within the area of influence, targeting key healthcare influencers and evaluators.Collaborate in identifying potential investigators for Phase IIIb/IV studies. Support and advise KOLs in initiating studies and assist with ongoing research.Be familiar with materials used by the Sales and Market Access teams for product/pathology communication. Attend internal forums on product strategy and information.Report any suspected adverse reactions to Pharmacovigilance.EducationDegree in Health Sciences.PhD is a plus.ExperienceExperience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in hospital-based products is desirable but not essential.Experience or knowledge in Neurological Diseases/Drugs is a plus.Willingness to travel more than 70%.CompetenciesStrong skills for working in multidisciplinary teams.Why work with Almirall?
