Position Overview: Reporting to our Chief Global Customer Officer, the successful candidate ideally holds proven experience in key account sales and connectivity with large CPG retailers and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a combination of CPG, Retail, and related Professional Services, with a history of using data-led insights and advisory capabilities to drive growth. Experience in sales and client management in the services industries is also viewed as an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide organizational, sales, and client service leadership for the Advantage Global business.
2. Build strong business relationships with our CPG clients, ensuring they are gaining value and insights from our work and that you strengthen their advocacy for Advantage.
3. Achieve sales and profit goals of the client portfolio and meet new business development targets.
4. Collaborate with the Commercial, Market, and Finance teams to ensure alignment with business strategy and processes, including financial reporting — budgets, forecast estimates for clients across global and local investments.
5. Develop client service and product proposals through collaboration across relevant functions of our and the client’s business.
6. Exercise strong business acumen and negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
7. Support Market leaders in developing and nurturing collaboration with global clients at the country level.
8. Enhance the Advantage brand within the FMCG community through keynote presentations, conference participation, white papers, and published articles.
Location: The candidate will ideally be based in Europe (Spain, France, UK, Netherlands, or Germany preferred). This role is remote (home office based). Travel may include client visits, occasional trips to Toronto, conferences, or industry events.
