Junior Scientific Project Manager – Publications (Inflammation Area)We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Scientific Project Manager – Publications with experience in the Inflammation therapeutic area to join an international healthcare environment and support the coordination and execution of medical publication projects.This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a scientific background and hands-on experience in inflammatory diseases, immunology, or related medical areas, who enjoys structured project coordination, working with publication platforms, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a global setting.Job Responsibilities- Provide project management support for medical publication projects within the Inflammation therapeutic area.- Work with the publication platform to support focus markets and assigned projects.- Manage assigned projects on the platform, ensuring accurate real-time updates.- Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively following up with internal teams, authors, and external agencies.- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned inflammation publication projects.- Consolidate and coordinate author and stakeholder feedback to ensure alignment and follow-through.- Support the organization and execution of medical publication workshops related to inflammatory diseases.- Ensure compliance with publication processes, standards, and timelines.- Support clear, structured communication across multiple stakeholders.Required Qualifications- Master’s degree in Biological or Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Immunology, or related fields).- Experience working in the Inflammation area, immunology, or related therapeutic fields (academic, industry, agency, or Medical Affairs).- Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).- Strong organizational and project management skills.- Ability to multitask and work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.- Service-oriented, structured, and highly detail-focused mindset.- Clear and confident communication skills.Desirable- Understanding of the medical publications workflow, particularly in inflammation-related indications.- Experience in a scientific communication or medical agency, especially working on inflammation projects.- Exposure to Medical Affairs or cross-functional pharmaceutical teams.- Experience working with digital publication or project management platforms.What We Offer- Permanent contract through Hays.- Flexible remote working model, with one day per month on-site at the office in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona area).- Travel expenses fully covered by the company.- Competitive compensation package and adaptable working arrangements.- Opportunity to grow within an international and technology‑driven environment.- Collaboration with global stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.💡 If you are interested in starting your career in project management while working closely with digital systems and international stakeholders, we would love to hear from you.
