Overview
Change Manager SAP Transformation – HR & Finance in Spain (Barcelona | Madrid). We are embarking on a large-scale SAP HR/Finance transformation and seek an experienced Change Manager to lead the organizational change management workstream for this program and ensure successful adoption across the business. In this role, you will focus on stakeholder engagement, communication strategy, training coordination and behavioral change – not technical configuration – to drive user adoption and business readiness for the new systems.
Responsibilities
* Shape and deliver the change strategy: Develop and execute communication, training, and engagement plans to drive adoption of SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.
* Engage stakeholders: Collaborate with leaders, SMEs, and end-users across multiple countries, building trust and addressing concerns to secure buy-in.
* Lead communications: Create clear, compelling messaging that explains the “why” behind the transformation, keeps employees informed, and celebrates success stories.
* Ensure readiness: Analyze impacts on HR and Finance processes, assess business readiness, and implement targeted actions to prepare teams for go-live.
* Build a change champion network: Set up and guide local ambassadors who will act as advocates, run info sessions, and support their colleagues.
* Drive user adoption & training: Design and oversee robust training programs (including “train-the-trainer”), foster new ways of working, and monitor adoption KPIs.
* Collaborate & report: Work closely with the program leadership team, integrate change activities into the overall plan, and provide transparent progress updates.
Qualifications
* University degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, Communications, HR, or a related field; certifications in Change Management (e.g. Prosci), Project Management (PMP/Agile), and/or Systemic Coaching are a plus.
* 5+ years’ experience in change management for large-scale transformation programs, ideally SAP S/4HANA or ERP implementations.
* Strong knowledge of change management principles, best practices, and methodologies (e.g. Prosci ADKAR or similar).
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident in engaging senior leadership and acting as a trusted advisor.
* Outstanding communication skills in English (written and verbal); additional European languages are a plus.
* Proven experience in designing and coordinating end-user training programs.
* Analytical, data-driven, and adaptable to evolving project needs.
* Prior experience in international, multi-country projects; cultural awareness and willingness to travel within Europe.
