Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00am-7:30pm Days (Saturdays and Sundays Off)

Location: Puentes;
215 SE 102nd Ave. Portland, OR 97216

Compensation:

CADC-1: $27.62 - $36.65

CADC-2 or 3: $30.45 - $40.39

Minimum Qualifications

Must have experience working with Latino culture.

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.

Must hold one of the following credentials: CADC-1, CADC-2, or CADC-3.

QMHA-R preferred. Register with MHACBO to meet QMHA-R requirements.

Combination of at least two years of work, education, training or experience in chemical dependency and mental health treatment preferred.

Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Current CPR certification prior to start date.

Competencies to communicate effectively, perform drug and alcohol assessments, develop service plans based on ASAM criteria, and understand treatment terminology.

Adhere to Central City Concern's drug‐free workplace policies and comply with the Drug‐Free Workplace Act of 1988.

Pass a pre‐employment drug screen, TB test, and background check, including DHS clearance.

The OAR prohibits A&D program staff from having a DUI conviction, felony conviction, or conviction under the Uniform Controlled Substances Act within the previous 3 years.

Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects;
climb stairs several times a day.

Will be required to carry an agency cell phone for work use, provided by Central City Concern.

Adhere to agency Fleet Safety Policy and non‐discrimination policies.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in culturally specific outreach to engage prospective clients.

Assist with screenings, intakes, and enrollment paperwork.

Complete alcohol and drug assessments;
develop culturally appropriate, strengths‐based service plans.

Maintain a caseload and serve as primary counselor from admission to discharge.

Meet each client at least once per month for individual counseling and case management.

Provide weekly group counseling on aspects of addiction and recovery.

Introduce clients to self‐help support and other services.

Collaborate with treatment team, community providers, and support networks to address client needs.

Maintain client records required by program, county, state, and funding source.

Attend clinical staff meetings and case conferences to facilitate treatment plans.

Advocate and provide referrals to ensure Latino community members access mental health services.

Work within scope of training;
seek consultation when needed.

Attend all mandatory CCC trainings promptly.

Adhere to HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and CCC privacy and security policies;
report breaches immediately.

Demonstrate knowledge of Latino community resources.

Participate in training to advance addiction and mental health skills.

Administer urinary drug analysis.

Perform duties pursuant to specialized DUII/DCJ system requirements when applicable.

Perform other duties as assigned.
