EXECUTIVE CAREER OPENING: DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE
Fuerte Group Hotels invites applications from seasoned financial leaders for the executive position of Director of Administration and Finance. This strategic role, based near the corporate headquarters in Málaga / Marbella, Spain, requires an experienced professional to oversee all financial operations, administration, and corporate governance for our hotel group.
1. Position and Mission (ROLE DETAILS)
* Company: Fuerte Group Hotels (A stable, family-owned group celebrating over 65 years of hospitality excellence).
* Location: Málaga / Marbella Area, Spain.
* Mission: Provide strategic financial leadership to the Group. You will manage the overall financial health, ensuring robust internal controls, accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and optimal treasury management to support long-term, sustainable growth.
2. Essential Job Functions (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
Your executive responsibilities cover the entirety of the corporate financial structure:
2.1. Strategic Financial Planning & Control
* First, lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasts, and long-term strategic planning.
* Oversee and control the Group’s treasury operations, optimizing cash flow and managing banking relationships.
* Therefore, monitor key financial indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement in cost efficiency and profitability across all properties.
2.2. Reporting & Compliance
* Direct the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) under Spanish accounting standards.
* Ensure strict compliance with all local, national, and international tax regulations.
* Furthermore, manage internal and external audits, coordinating efforts with external advisors.
2.3. Administration & Team Leadership
* Lead and manage the central Administration, Accounting, and Finance teams, fostering a culture of accuracy, compliance, and professional growth.
* Provide sound financial analysis and advice to the CEO and Board of Directors regarding new investments, capital expenditures, and risk management.
* Crucially, oversee legal and administrative documentation for the Group.
3. Candidate Profile (JOB REQUIREMENTS)
3.1. Qualifications & Experience
* Education: Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Finance is mandatory. A Master’s degree (MBA) or CPA/Chartered Accountant certification is highly valued.
* Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive financial leadership, with at least 3 years as a Finance Director/CFO, preferably within the Hotel, Real Estate, or Tourism sector.
* Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in Spanish tax law, accounting principles (PGCE), and sophisticated financial modeling.
3.2. Language & Leadership
* Language (MANDATORY): Absolute professional fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal) is required.
* Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex organizations, lead senior teams, and communicate financial strategy clearly to non-financial executives.
