Misión Our client is a leading independent technical advisor founded in 2008, specializing in wind, solar, and battery energy storage system (BESS) assets. This technical advisor offers a wide range of services throughout the entire lifecycle of renewable energy projects, including Technical Due Diligence, Asset Management, and PPA Advisory. Perfil We are currently seeking a Senior Advisory Due Diligence Consultant Specialist in Solar and Energy Storage to join our Advisory team in Spain. The primary objective of this role is to expand our presence in the Spanish market by providing technical and commercial expertise and driving business development initiatives. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in conducting technical audits for solar and energy storage projects and will be instrumental in growing our network and potentially leading a dedicated team. Proficiency in the tools required for conducting solar and energy storage audits is essential to facilitate growth in these areas of expertise. The role can ideally be based in Madrid, but remote work from other locations in Spain is also a possibility, depending on the candidate's preference. Responsibilities: - Conducting technical due diligence on solar and energy storage projects, encompassing project management, client relations, feasibility studies, contract reviews, and technical report generation. - Performing pre- and post-construction deliverability studies for solar energy projects, including analyses of resource assessment, system design, equipment evaluation, and site selection. - Collaborating with stakeholders, including turbine manufacturers, to assess technological options and ensure optimal project outcomes. - Analyzing and interpreting site measurement data, production data, and environmental factors to produce accurate and bankable reports. - Participating in business development activities to expand Greensolver's market share in Spain, including networking, attending industry events, and engaging with potential clients and partners. - Managing key client accounts and supporting internal sales efforts. - Supporting the expansion of Asset Management, Finance, and PPA teams within the country. - Reviewing and analyzing third-party reports, contracts, and environmental constraints as part of technical audits for project acquisitions. Qualifications/Experience: - Minimum of 4 years' experience in technical consultancy and deliverability analysis for solar and energy storage projects. - Strong background in solar resource analysis and project design; experience in energy storage projects is advantageous. - Established network in the renewables industry. - Experience in operational analysis of solar and/or energy storage projects is a plus. - Excellent communication and report writing skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with industry software such as PVsyst is desirable. - Familiarity with CFD models and financial modeling tools is advantageous. - Demonstrated ability to engage with customers and represent Greensolver effectively in the market. - Fluency in English required; proficiency in French is a plus. - Master's degree in physical sciences or engineering.
