We are hiring at Viccarbe a new position: IT Manager. The person will manage a team of 4 people and will report to the company's management, depending on our headquarters in the USA.
Strategic IT Leadership
The IT Leader serves as a strategic partner to the business, aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals. This role requires a systems-thinking mindset and a strong focus on leveraging technology to drive innovation, efficiency, and value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute IT strategies that support business transformation and growth.
* Align affiliate IT initiatives with corporate/global IT platforms and standards where required and where leverage can be achieved.
* Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful adoption of new technologies.
* Oversee IT governance, including policies, standards, and compliance frameworks.
IT Operations & Resource Management
The IT Leader is accountable for the effective management of IT operations, including people, processes, and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage internal IT staff, contractors, consultants, and third-party service providers.
* Recruit, mentor, and retain top IT talent to build a high-performing team.
* Define the IT annual Plan and oversee budgets, forecasts, procurement, and vendor contracts.
Enterprise Applications Management
The IT Leader ensures that enterprise applications are effectively integrated, optimized, and aligned with business needs.
ERP Systems (e.g., SAP-/S4, SAP B1) - Lead ERP strategy, approve customizations, manage vendor relationships.
CRM Platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) - Lead CRM enhancements and integrations to support sales and marketing.
Web & eCommerce Platforms - Manage vendor relationships and ensure seamless integration with backend systems
Business Intelligence (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) - Guide data strategy, tool selection, and reporting initiatives.
Manufacturing Technologies (e.g., RFID, Scanners) - Lead automation and digitalization efforts on the shop floor.
Artificial Intelligence Lead - AI progressive adaptation
Product Data & Engineering Systems
The IT Leader supports the management and integration of product data systems across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee tools such as ERP Configurators, pCon, CET, ECAT, and SolidWorks.
* Ensure seamless data flow between engineering, sales, and customer-facing platforms.
* Support digital product representation and configuration for internal and external users.
Infrastructure & Cloud Services
The IT Leader is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage infrastructure projects including upgrades, expansions, and relocations.
* Oversee platforms such as Office 365, network/server infrastructure, VMs, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
* Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of IT systems.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
The IT Leader ensures the organization's information assets are secure and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement cybersecurity policies and practices in alignment with corporate standards.
* Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
* Collaborate with internal and external security teams on audits, monitoring, and incident response.
* Oversee physical security systems such as access control and surveillance.
AI – Business Transformation
The IT Leader is aware of the AI potential for the business transformation and ensures its progressive adaptation to the different processes in all the departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enhance the identification of repetitive tasks that can be automated for faster and more reliable performance.
* Lead the reorientation of employees toward higher value-added tasks to boost and improve the efficiency of any department.
