The ES On the road (OTR) team manages and grows Amazon's last mile delivery network across Spain, working with delivery stations and partners on route and package management.
The ES OTR Capacity Planning team is central to achieving DSP Last Mile Delivery objectives, focusing on building capacity strategies for the short and mid-term.
As Manager, OTR Capacity Planning, you will develop and execute the capacity strategy for ES, engaging with senior leaders and stakeholders across functions to ensure alignment and drive improvements using analytical approaches.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Building station-level OTR capacity plans and maintaining demand reporting.
2. Creating scalable planning processes utilizing historical data and performance standards.
3. Leading capacity review meetings with operations leaders.
4. Partnering with stakeholders to align on demand and capacity changes.
5. Driving standards across operations functions in capacity planning.
6. Coordinating execution of capacity plans with acquisition teams.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent; fields such as logistics, engineering, or economics preferred.
* Strong business judgment, analytical skills, and influence ability.
* Excellent communication in English and Spanish, with experience in senior management reporting.
* Experience in contract negotiations, supplier management, and performance tracking.
* Relevant industry experience, preferably in ecommerce logistics.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Willingness to travel ~10% internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
* Leadership experience.
* SQL and data analysis skills.
* Proficiency in French communication skills is a plus.
