MISSION OF THE ROLE The Group IT Program & Data Director reports to the Group CIO and plays a pivotal strategic leadership role within the organization. This position is accountable for defining, governing, and delivering complex, interdependent IT and Data programs that are fully aligned with the Group's business strategy, profitability objectives, and sustainable growth ambitions.

Acting as a key bridge between business strategy, program execution, and enterprise data capabilities, the role ensures the successful delivery of large-scale transformation initiatives while establishing a modern, secure, and scalable data ecosystem across all Group entities. The Group IT Program & Data Director transforms technology and data into tangible business value, enabling data-driven decision-making, advanced analytics, and operational excellence with measurable P& L impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

\n

- Program Strategy, Governance, and Alignment

\n

Define and articulate the vision, scope, and roadmap of Group-wide IT and Data programs in collaboration with Executive Management and Business Sponsors.

\n

Structure complex programs by identifying constituent projects, their critical interdependencies, and optimal execution sequencing.

\n

Establish and chair the Program Steering Committee (Steer Co), ensuring effective governance, transparency, and decision-making.

\n

Ensure continuous alignment with corporate strategy, target business and IT architectures, and enterprise data strategy.

\n

- Program Execution and Financial Management

\n

Oversee the execution of multiple interdependent IT and Data projects, ensuring adherence to Group standards and delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, SAFe).

\n

Ensure strong sponsorship and engagement from Regional CIOs and key stakeholders across all entities.

\n

Manage overall program budgets (CAPEX and OPEX), optimizing resource allocation and controlling expenditures with clear EBITDA and P& L impact.

\n

Define, monitor, and report on KPIs, value metrics, and benefit realization to track progress and business outcomes.

\n

- Data Strategy, Architecture, and Platforms

\n

Define and evolve the Group Data Strategy in collaboration with Executive Management and, where applicable, the Chief Data Officer.

\n

Design, maintain, and govern the target enterprise data architecture, including data models, flows, storage, and integration layers.

\n

Lead the selection, implementation, and governance of data platforms and technologies (Cloud Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, ETL/ELT, BI/Analytics, MLOps).

\n

Ensure consistency and scalability of data models and solutions across all Group entities and systems.

\n

- Data Governance, Quality, and Compliance

\n

Establish and enforce enterprise-wide technical data governance and quality standards (profiling, cleansing, monitoring).

\n

Implement data governance tools and processes, including data catalogs, lineage, and metadata management.

\n

Ensure the security, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance of data assets (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), in close collaboration with IT Security.

\n

Oversee Master Data Management (MDM) to guarantee a Single Source of Truth for critical business data.

\n

- Delivery, Operations, and Risk Management

\n

Oversee the operational stability and performance of IT and Data platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and availability.

\n

Manage risks, dependencies, and issues at program level, proactively escalating critical topics to the Steering Committee.

\n

Lead change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new systems, platforms, and data solutions across the organization.

\n

Assess and govern scope changes, evaluating their impact on timelines, costs, and expected benefits.

\n
