AWS Cloud / Platform Engineer About the roleWe're looking for a hands-on AWS Cloud / Platform Engineer to help design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure in a general, cloud-first environment.This role focuses on executing and evolving runtime infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, supporting development teams through CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation, while progressively strengthening security best practices and cloud posture.You'll work closely with distributed teams across Barcelona, Stockholm, and Germany, collaborating with senior engineers while actively contributing to day-to-day platform and infrastructure work.If you're strong in AWS, comfortable with Terraform, enjoy automation, and want to grow towards Cloud Security and DevSecOps, this role is for you. What you'll do Assist in defining and managing runtime infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) across cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-prem environments (networking, databases, proxies). Help build and operate secure, stable, and scalable systems, following networking and security best practices, with guidance from senior teammates. Support the implementation and maintenance of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to improve system reliability and operability. Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines, including build, test, packaging, and deployment workflows. Identify repetitive operational tasks and help automate processes, promoting self-service and operational efficiency. Work in Linux-based environments, supporting cloud-native and containerized workloads. Participate in Git/GitOps workflows, contributing to infrastructure and deployment automation. Must Have Strong hands-on experience with AWS (architecture basics, infrastructure definition, and operations). Solid experience or strong familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, with Terraform as a key plus. Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments. Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and development workflows. Good scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar). Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker) and exposure to Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms. Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls) and high-availability concepts. Problem-solving mindset, hands-on attitude, and willingness to learn through collaboration. Fluent Spanish & English (daily communication with international teams). Nice to Have Interest or experience in Cloud Security / DevSecOps, with a focus on automation and security posture improvement. Exposure to GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD. Familiarity with cloud security best practices and automation tooling. Experience working in distributed, international teams. Background in platform engineering or automation-first environments.
