We are looking for an Application Support Engineer (Data & ETL Focus) to join the team of a leading multinational company based in Madrid.
👥 Role & Responsibilities:
* Ensure the operational stability of services within the DATA perimeter, with a focus on ETL processes.
* Monitor and manage batch processing, data transfers, and application workflows, ensuring data integrity and service quality.
* Handle incidents end-to-end, ensuring quick resolution, clear communication, and proper documentation (PIRs).
* Proactively improve service through monitoring, automation, and performance analysis.
* Act as a technical expert for IT Operations in production and infrastructure topics.
* Supervise application components, interfaces, backups, and monitoring systems.
* Manage releases, coordinate changes, and collaborate with development, operations, and business teams.
* Maintain and improve technical documentation, procedures, and dashboards.
🎯 Requirements:
* +5 years of experience in IT Application Support (data environments preferred).
* Strong knowledge of ETL processes and batch scheduling tools.
* Solid understanding of production environments and IT operations.
* Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across teams.
* Customer-oriented, resilient, and proactive mindset.
* Knowledge of IT risk and cybersecurity principles.
