Reporting to the country Finance & IT Director, we are looking for a high‐potential Industrial Controller to join our team and play a key role in driving financial performance across our industrial operations (2 plants).This is not just a reporting role; you will act as a true business partner, working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Plant Management to challenge decisions, improve profitability, and ensure data‐driven performance.You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of cost data, analysing margins and variances, and identifying opportunities to optimise efficiency and profitability across the business.If you are analytical, hands‐on, and eager to make an impact in a fast‐paced multinational environment, this role is for you.Roles & Responsibilities Lead monthly industrial closing and performance analysisMonitor and analyse production costs, margins, and profitability (including customer profitability)Perform detailed variance analysis (price, volume, mix, efficiency)Drive the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecast cyclesControl and optimise inventory, provisions, and working capitalSupport and challenge operations on manufacturing deviations and cost efficiencyManage and track CAPEX and investment performanceDeliver accurate and timely reporting to HQ and collaborate with international teamsAct as a business partner to production, supply chain, and maintenance teamsEnsure data quality, internal controls, and compliance with corporate policiesIdentify and lead continuous improvement initiatives in financial and operational processesYour Qualifications Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar4–5 years of experience in Controlling within a multinational industrial/manufacturing environment or experience in Audit (Big Four) with strong exposure to industrial clientsStrong knowledge of cost accounting and industrial controllingExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningSolid understanding of manufacturing KPIs and margin analysisExperience in inventory and working capital managementKnowledge of IFRS and local GAAPProficient SAP/ADv/Excel/BI toolsEnglish and Spanish (oral, written), mandatoryStrong team player with a collaborative mindsetProactive, results‐oriented professional with a high sense of urgency and strong commitment to meeting reporting deadlinesAbility to deliver accurate and timely reports under pressure while maintaining high quality standardsBenefits Meal discountsFlexible working hoursEEO & Diversity Statement Mondi is committed to creating a diverse workplace and encourages applications from traditionally underrepresented groups, including women, visible minorities, LGBTQI+ individuals, and people with disabilities.
