Job Description

Position Summary: The DPO will oversee privacy and data protection compliance, implement policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to GDPR, LOPDGDD, and other standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and update processing activity registers.
2. Coordinate with security officers to implement technical and organizational measures.
3. Monitor privacy performance and identify improvement opportunities.
4. Develop and enforce privacy policies and procedures.
5. Manage privacy audits and staff training.
6. Handle data breaches and coordinate corrective actions.
7. Assess privacy risks of outsourced activities and suppliers.
8. Conduct DPIAs for new data processing activities.
9. Ensure compliance with privacy by design and lawfulness of processing.
10. Stay updated on relevant privacy regulations and standards.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Degree in Law.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or compliance department leadership.
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
* Knowledge of GDPR, LOPDGDD, ISO 27701, HIPAA, CCPA, CDPA, and related standards.
* Personal certifications such as DPO, CDPSE are advantageous.
* Advanced computer skills.
