ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Telesales Representative handles incoming requests from merchants who wish to become Ria agents, prepares their applications for regulatory approval, and supports the growth of money transfer activity within their portfolio.
Main responsibilities:
- Handling incoming requests from all merchants in Portugal interested in our money transfer service.
- Occasional outbound prospecting through targeted actions (calls), depending on business needs.
- Creating and managing agent prospect files to obtain regulatory approval.
- Coordinating the service setup and training of agents with the support of the local teams based in Portugal.
- Providing active commercial follow-up with new agents to help them grow their money transfer activity during the first 3-4 months.
- This role requires excellent organizational skills to manage multiple applications and calls from agents within the portfolio. It also involves close collaboration with our sales teams.
PROFILE
We are ideally looking for the following profile:
- Initial experience in sales would be an advantage.
- Recognized for having a strong commercial mindset, confidence on the phone, and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Office 365 tools.
- A genuine interest in cultural diversity and teamwork.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential for this role. French, Spanish, Italian, and any other languages are a plus.
