Position: Software Asset Manager
Objectives:
Assume responsibility for the operation of the software asset management solution, maintaining accurate records of asset acquisitions, transfers, maintenance, and disposal.
Functions:
* Lead contract negotiations with software vendors
* Conduct market analyses to secure optimal purchasing conditions and identify potential savings
* Manage and maintain purchased and registered software licenses, ensuring license compliance
* Review and validate commercial data to oversee costs and budgets
* Manage contracts, monitor durations, and adapt them to current needs
* Apply IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategies to optimize procurement and license management
What are we looking for?
* Professionals with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role within a multinational company (food, energy, environment), with experience using Software Asset Management tools
Ideal candidates are quality and customer service-oriented, methodical, detail-oriented, discreet, results-driven, proactive, and willing to travel.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields
* Strong background in asset management or IT procurement
* Knowledge of IT asset management best practices and software licensing
* Additional relevant qualifications such as negotiation training or procurement courses are a plus
* Experience with ERP and e-procurement systems, and practical knowledge of data management
Additional skills include organizational ability, autonomy, versatility, proactivity, results orientation, and continuous improvement mindset. Fluency in English (B2-C1) is essential, with communication conducted in English.
