Since 2004 in Fragrance Science we create, produce and export all over the world our fragrances for their application in detergents, home care products, cosmetics and fine perfumery. We are currently looking for a highly-motivated Purchase Specialist.
The role description
Under supervision of the Purchasing Manager provides executive and administrative support within the Purchasing Department.
Ensures correct running of the purchasing operations and activities through proper and timely delivery of purchased goods, mainly raw materials for our Production Area and products ordered for other departments.
In coordination with different departments of the Company and by contacting with the key Company's suppliers and other appropriate companies, places orders, schedules delivery dates, constantly tracks orders' status and controls if delivery deadlines are met.
Reviews quality of purchased products and returns them in case of non-compliance. Manages effectively any incidences or issues related with the purchasing operations.
Enters orders' details (vendor, quantities, prices) into internal databases. Maintains updated records on purchased products, delivery information and invoices. Prepares reports on purchases, KPI's, including cost analyses.
Keeps management informed on the purchasing activities and operations held and done by creating appropriate documents, reports, overviews, plans, forecasts and notes as needed.
Requirements
At least 3-5 years of experience in the fragrance industry.Excellent English and Spanish is a must.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and with tight deadlines.Problem-solving and negotiation skills.Advanced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Meticulous attention to details.Relevant experience or internship in purchasing tasks would be appreciated, specially coming from Fragrance, Pharma or Cosmetic Industry.University degree in Business Administration, International Commerce, Supply Chain or other related careers.
