Role Purpose
The IT deployment lead will take the lead in delivering all key IT strategic new business wins as well as supporting key organic growth within the business.
• Lead / Manage the IT Deployment team to support project implementations, ensuring scope, quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Lead / Manage the team to identify and develop new IT solutions aligned with LLP EMEA IT / business Strategy and customer requirements.
• Lead IT activities during Solution Validation to validate business requirements and prepare IT Solution Design aligned with LLP standards and customer needs.
• Support subsequent project phases (Build, Technical Testing, UAT, implementation) to ensure scope and quality alignment.
• Drive standardization of IT / Business delivery processes for quicker, more effective project delivery.
• Provide strategic IT Deployment leadership for new customers and strategic projects to promote digital innovation.
• Provide IT Deployment training and support for new team members and projects.
• Lead the creation of best practice processes, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned.
• Support System & Process improvements with integrated IT solutions, gathering requirements, selecting suppliers, and proposing potential solutions.
• Ensure all IT services are delivered in line with operational and project scope, supporting the Regional IT Business Partner / IT SLT.
• Coordinate with IT suppliers and project managers to meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
Responsibilities
• Lead new LLP project implementations across the EMEA region.
• Lead IT delivery during Solution Validation and subsequent project phases alongside IT Project Managers and the wider LLP IT organization.
• Conduct IT due diligence to validate that solutions fit business and customer needs.
• Manage all aspects of IT Change and Release Management within your area.
• Manage IT suppliers to ensure timely, scoped, and budget-compliant project delivery.
• Support external customer relationships to aid business development, ongoing projects, and operations.
• Develop expertise in all systems to support operational best practices.
• Provide strategic IT leadership when working with new customers to foster digital innovation.
• Define requirements for and facilitate creation and maintenance of IT documentation; deliver IT training to operational super users.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
• Fluent in English
• Experience in the logistics industry
• 5+ years in IT Service Management and people management (middle management preferred)
• Customer management skills (internal/external)
• Change Management experience
• IT literacy
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Planning and organizational skills
Desirable:
• Knowledge of SDLC, TMS solutions (OTM), integrations, and third-party SaaS solutions
• Fluent in Polish and Spanish
• Project/Implementation Management experience
• Financial and commercial awareness
• Product and supplier management skills
• Solution design and stakeholder management skills
• Negotiating and influencing skills
